Davis-Standard Strengthens Global Leadership with Appointment of Christian Renners as Business Unit President & Scott LeBrun as VP Sales & Marketing

 

PAWCATUCK, CT. – Davis-Standard, a global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance extrusion and converting technology, is pleased to announce a significant reinforcement of its executive leadership team. Christian Renners has been appointed as President of the Davis-Standard Business Unit (DSBU), and Scott LeBrun has joined as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Business Unit.

These appointments underscore Davis-Standard’s “customer-obsessed” philosophy. Both Renners and LeBrun have immediately begun engaging with the company’s global customer base to ensure the customer remains central to every strategic decision and operational improvement.

In his early tenure, Renners is working closely across the Davis-Standard family of brands—including Maillefer, battenfeld-cincinnati, and Exelliq. The goal is to identify and integrate the “best and brightest” technologies and expertise from across the organization to deliver tailored solutions that meet specific customer requirements.

Most recently, he served as CEO of Kögel Trailer GmbH, where he led a major business transformation. His extensive resume includes senior executive roles at Vossloh Fastening Systems GmbH (CEO and CTO) and Sumitomo (SHI) Demag (Chief Sales Officer). Having lived and worked in the U.S., Mexico, Spain, and Germany, Renners offers a truly global perspective on manufacturing and operational excellence.

Lebrun is recognized for his expertise in driving growth initiatives and deepening customer engagement on a global scale.
