Davis-Standard, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Frank Orsini to Vice President, Extrusion Coating Systems. Orsini’s responsibilities will now include the global product management of Davis-Standard’s extrusion coating product line.

Orsini has more than 29 years of experience in extrusion coating at Davis-Standard, holding roles of increasing responsibility in product management and sales. He recently served as Director of Key Accounts for Extrusion Coating. Orsini holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an MBA from Rider University.

“Frank’s understanding of the technology, end-use applications, and market dynamics, as well as key global relationships in the value chain, make him the best choice to continue our efforts in identifying, creating, and delivering value for our customers,” stated Jim Murphy, Davis-Standard’s Vice President of Global Product Development. “Frank’s leadership in developing new markets and new products will expand our market-leading capabilities in key areas such as flexible and aseptic packaging.”

Orsini is leading one of Davis-Standard’s Global Advantage initiatives with the introduction of the new dsX flex-pack™. The new dsX flex-pack™ extrusion coating line from Davis-Standard provides converters and package printers with a high-value system that will give them distinct advantages when seeking to expand sales in the price-sensitive global flexible packaging market.
