Fall Session: October 22nd – 23rd

“Basics of Plastics Extrusion” seminar at our manufacturing headquarters in Pawcatuck, Connecticut.

Our seminar is held twice a year in Spring and Fall, with the exception of NPE tradeshow year (this year).

Our fall seminar is a basics introduction into the polymer extrusion world of Davis-Standard. Diving in-depth into topics such as the drive motor, power transmission, material feeding, the feed section, barrel, cooling systems, transducers, breaker plate, screen changers, and melt pumps.

Our experts cover maintenance and safety, dies, controls and you get to learn about screw design and practical application from award winning John Christiano. Christiano is our expert and VP of Davis-Standard Technology and he will walk you through polymer processing engineering and process optimization.

We will also include our break out sessions dedicated to the variety of product line applications Davis-Standard in embedded in – Blown Film, Cast Film, Elastomer, Extrusion Coating, Pipe, Profile, Tubing, Sheet, and Wire & Cable.
