SEMINARS DESIGNED FOR YOUR BUSINESS

In response to overwhelming customer requests, Davis- Standard will once again offer an extrusion training course. The seminar includes training in basic plastic extrusion and will be held at Davis-Standard’s Technical Center in Pawcatuck, CT. In addition to instruction, course participants will have an opportunity to tour Davis-Standard’s laboratory and manufacturing facilities, and speak with polymer process engineers and technical specialists. Class size is limited to permit productive student/teacher interaction. Course books and materials are included in the fee.

PRODUCTIVITY – THE KEY TO PROFITABILITY

This seminar focuses on the basics of plastic extrusion, including extruder components, temperature control, maintenance, and screw design. Instruction on the composition and properties of various polymers and the mechanics of fundamental downstream processes is also included.

Room Reservations

Room reservations and charges are the responsibility of each attendee. However, we do offer 4 hotels at a discounted rate near our facility.  The hotel reservations must be booked through the event coordinator.

Fee

Fee includes seminar tuition, workbooks, continental breakfast, luncheon and coffee, and dinner the first night of the seminar.

Group Discounts

A 10% discount on the tuition fee will be allowed for three or more persons attending a particular seminar on the same date from the same company.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Confirmation will not be processed until payment with a completed registration form is received. Please remit in U.S. funds only. Make checks payable to Davis-Standard or you can pay via a credit card; Visa® Mastercard® and American Express® accepted.
